I met a very diverse and interesting group of travelers on this tour!
Daniela was amazing! Born in Munich, and now living in Provence, she had such a remarkable grasp on European culture. Her broken English was adorable & I loved phrases like, "I splain you," & "shnick-shnacks"- it is hard to imagine traveling through France with another guide. Mary, our assistant guide, was a huge asset to the tour. She had helpful tips in every port & was so entertaining with her little sound affects and wedding preparation tidbits. The small amount of time we spent with our bus driver, Olivier, was top-quality (what we could understand of each other, but he was always smiling! :)

I alternated roommates with Judy, Teresa & Mary which allowed me to get to know them much better. They were all independent like me, but each had qualities that made them unique.

Terry's group (Brenda, Glenn, Martha, Teresa, Marjory & Kim) brought a lot of fun to the tour! Whoever travels with them in Spain - you are in for a treat, or should I say, get ready! I also wanted to thank Glenn, Martha, Marjory & Kim for all your advise and assistance when I had knee problems!!

Milde & family brought joy to the group. Dan & John were always there taking the best pictures & Milde and Carol, especially Milde, were so excited and happy to see everything.

Gabby & Ilene had their own unique take on life and they inspired me to want to check out new things.

My buddy, Sally & John and Allen & Patti were always taking advantage of every opportunity along the tour to either follow a R.S. self guided walk, or find a new site - I took note of their organization for my next trip. I think Claire & Chuck must have been doing the same, cause I honestly didn't see much of them thoughout the tour, besides on group activities.

Barb & Vic were so accomodating. They would always invite me to join them if I didn't have someone to dine with or site-see with (I really appreciated that!)

Most of all thank you to Daniela & Mary and to Rick Steves' Europe for another unforgetable tour.
